The terrace is wonderful and very large. Rachid was lovely, and he served a plentiful, good breakfast.

The view from the terrace is wonderful, and Rachid made us a lovely breakfast. He was an incredibly helpful and conscientious host during our one night in this beautifully furnished and decorated Riad. It’s peaceful and very quiet except during the call to prayer. It sits away from the well-trodden tourist track, in an area that might feel a little intimidating if you’re travelling alone.

We spent two nights here in December 2022. Rachid, or Rasheed, is lovely and attentive, and clearly cares about his guests. It’s a safe and relatively clean place, but keep in mind that it’s a traditional riad rather than a hotel in the New City, so it won’t be as modern or clean. You’ll also hear the neighboring cats, chickens, and Azzan. That’s part of the authentic experience. Enjoy!

We’ve never had a better host than Rachid.

The food was good, though a bit expensive. This is a very beautiful riad with wonderful service, and you can also arrange a fantastic guide through the Fes old Medina. Highly recommended for a visit to Fes.
