We enjoyed the room and the excellent breakfast at this beautiful riad in the heart of the Fes medina, and the roof terrace would have been great if it hadn't been too wet and cold for us to use. The staff felt rather aloof and could be hard to reach. We sometimes asked for hot water for tea, and when it came, it could take more than 40 minutes. The hammam and massage were lovely, though. The women were kind and skilled. I'd recommend it if you're comfortable being naked: it was women together, intimate but respectful, and I embraced and enjoyed that part of the culture. I'd seen some reviews call the exposure inappropriate, but that wasn't my experience. It's a lovely place to stay.

We booked the 30 minute hammam scrub and 30 minute massage for two after seeing good reviews on GetYourGuide. It cost 1000 mdr in total. The scrub was thorough, but the whole visit felt rushed, and I'm sure there are better places. The spa isn't really a dedicated spa area: the changing room was a regular hotel room, the waiting area was like a hallway, and the small hammam room was unattractive, with grey stone and tiles. During the massage, the women talked to each other, which made it harder to relax. When it ended, they said "finished," switched off the music playing from a phone in one of their pockets, and turned on the lights without warning. That didn't help me carry any relaxation into the evening. Towels, bathrobes, slippers, and single use underwear were provided, and reception staff were very friendly. You can pay by card or cash. The riad building is beautiful, so the plain spa area was a surprise. If I had another hammam in Fez, I'd look elsewhere.

The spa and breakfast were both great, and the rooftop was beautiful. We also loved the cosy, comfortable rooms and how kind and helpful the staff were. A beautiful riad in a perfect location. We'd happily stay again anytime, thank you!

I had a really pleasant hammam and massage here, with very friendly people. It felt more authentic and less touristy to me than other places, though the prices are a bit high.
