I found the room a little dark, but it was warm, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure was great. This is a nice, clean, affordable place to stay while touring the Medina. The host welcomed us and suggested local guides and places to eat. Breakfast was good, and the staff were very pleasant.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and gave us helpful tips for getting around the Medina and finding places to eat. The rooms were well kept and had private bathrooms, and breakfast was nice with amazing city views. It's a perfect budget option right in the heart of Fes. I'd definitely return.

The rooms had a lovely Moroccan style, breakfast was tasty, and the large terrace looked over the city. But what stood out most was our host's kindness and hospitality. When we found every pharmacy closed and couldn't get baby formula, he drove to another part of town to find some for us. He wouldn't accept repayment, saying it was a gift from his kid to ours. We've rarely experienced that level of generosity in Morocco. We had an exceptional stay at Dar Tahrya.

After walking around the medina and looking at one overpriced or disappointing riad after another, we reached Dar Tahrya and immediately felt good about the place. We were very glad to spend three nights there. The beds were comfortable, the riad had classic ambience, and breakfast came with some of the best coffee we've had. When the pharmacies were closed and we ran out of baby formula, the owner drove out to an open pharmacy to get some for us, then refused to take any money. Morocco can feel overwhelming sometimes, but this stay reminded us how many kind, good people there are. We absolutely recommend it.

The terrace is a lovely place to relax, and our room was lovely too. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very generous. The Medina location is perfect and easy to find.
