Natha and Isamail were wonderful hosts and there for anything we needed. They even let me play a guitar that belonged to one of the Sáhara Riad's owners. The place was clean and felt safe, just a few minutes from the Medina. It was peaceful and beautiful, with a great terrace and delicious breakfast. The riad employees were excellent. Best riad I've stayed in in Morocco.

After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. I arrived after an 11-hour journey, and the attendant told me they wouldn't take dollars or cards and sent me to exchange money a kilometer away. I refused, and then he gave in and accepted dollars. The room was fine for one person, but that was about it. Shower water flooded the floor and didn't drain overnight, and the toilet kept running all night. A horrible experience.

We didn't stay at Casa La Espanola Hotel, but after being taken to the wrong address in Fes, they brought us inside and helped us reach our accommodation. They offered us food and coffee while we waited. Their hospitality was amazing, and I think anyone would be lucky to have that kind of help in Fes.
