My husband and I loved the hotel's lobby, with its chic oriental decor. The staff were wonderful, always willing to help, give advice, and point us to good places. We were there during Ramadan, when almost everything was closed, but one lovely person suggested some good dinner spots. I also felt sorry for the woman with a broken arm and neck who was still working and brought us breakfast while staying in the lobby. The rooms were the downside. They feel very dated and need renovation: some bathroom tiles and baseboards are broken. The last renovations were in the 2000s, and I thought the room was expensive for what it was.

We picked this hotel for one night because it's so close to Fes train station, less than a five-minute walk. The receptionist was polite and very helpful. Rooms aren't especially modern, but the facilities were fine, and one of ours had a little balcony. There are small supermarkets nearby and places to get a local dinner.

Good, clean and tidy during my stay, with decent air conditioning and a hot shower. It's an affordable 3-star hotel, and the street is quiet, quite close to the train station. I can't comment on breakfast because I didn't have it.

The staff were gentle and helpful, and the main train station is only a few minutes away on foot. For the price, it's okay for a one-night stay before heading out, but I wouldn't stay longer. The rooms were pretty dirty, and the AC barely worked. When it did run, it was loud.
