Riad Chao Mama Guesthouse - Hostel

We arrived at night, and since finding the door in the medina labyrinth is tricky, the staff met us where the taxi driver directed them. Everyone was so helpful throughout, always ready with information or to find whatever we needed. The house feels like a little museum, and it’s good value. It’s in Fez’s medina but away from the very center, so the air felt clean. It was fairly clean overall. It’s an old medina house, so I didn’t expect five-star hotel luxury. Breakfast was simple and pleasant, especially the homemade slice of bread. The terrace was lovely at night.
