The terrace was a lovely spot to relax, with beautiful views over the Medina and its mosques. Breakfast was generous each day, with savory and sweet dishes, yogurt, fruit, tea, coffee, and a different surprise every morning. It was all homemade, including the delicious sweet bread. There's also traditional hammam and massage services. I didn't try them myself, though I'd read they had excellent reviews. They offered complimentary Moroccan tea when we arrived, and we could ask for more whenever we liked. The location is especially convenient with large suitcases. Riad Dar Laura is right at the Medina entrance, so we didn't have to drag our bags through the narrow lanes, and the Blue Gate (Bab Bou Jeloud) is very close. It takes less than three minutes to walk into the center of the Medina, yet the riad stays peaceful and quiet. Our room had both air conditioning and heating, there's an elevator, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water quickly. That made a real difference after long days exploring. We meant to stay four days, but were so comfortable that we stayed in Fez and ended up spending 11 days there! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The riad is beautifully maintained and full of thoughtful details. It's not the most luxurious place, but everything was in perfect condition and clearly cared for with love. If it was this good for 11 days straight, I highly recommend it.

The hammam and massage were the highlight for me, honestly, they changed my life. Afterward we had tea and biscuits on the roof, which was lovely. The staff even walked us over from our hotel to the riad for the treatments, and they were so helpful throughout. The place is stunning, tucked just off the old Medina, so it feels quiet while still being in a great spot. I’d stay here for a luxurious cultural experience.

My wife and I had such a warm, memorable stay. The Riad is full of history and charm, and felt like being at our parents’ home. The reception staff member was very helpful, and the ladies were lovely and made us a delicious breakfast. We’ll absolutely come back the next time we’re in Fes. Thank you all!

We finished our Morocco trip at Riad Dar Laura, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. The rooms, food, service, and hospitality all went beyond what we expected, and the staff really look after their guests. After a tiring day walking around the medina of Fes, we tried the hammam, facial, and massage. It was a perfect way to wind down. I’d love to return one day, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Fes who wants a beautiful place to stay with caring service.

We hope to stay here again. This lovely Riad is right in the old town medina, with a beautiful rooftop terrace and delicious breakfast. Eman and Oomama at reception made us feel very welcome, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. They were also very accommodating.
