Riad Rasia

The room was comfortable and really nice, and the Riad itself felt cozy and beautiful. What made the stay especially good was the staff. Mourad, Rashida and Rahma were kind and helpful the whole time, and made the experience amazing.

Everyone on the staff was wonderful, especially Rashida, Mourad, and Rahma. They were always ready to help us and greeted us with big smiles. The riad was beautiful too, and we had a great experience.

We slept well on firm beds, and the setting was usually calm. Breakfast was nice, and stepping outside puts you right in the middle of the Medina. For the price, I’d recommend the place. Inside, the Riad is cute, though the corner near Bab Guissa and the main Souk streets isn’t the tidiest. That didn’t bother us much. There was construction on some days, and on others a few guests stayed up in the common area, but neither was unpleasant enough to spoil our stay. Murat, the superintendent, is excellent, if a bit shy. His English is good, though he doesn’t speak French. We had a few room problems, and they were all fixed the day we mentioned them. Ahmed, the manager, was helpful as well. Some small details could use more attention. This isn’t a professionally run hotel, but those things would be easy to fix and would make a strong impression on tourists.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with food from local farmers cooked fresh each morning. We had to leave at 4am and they kindly packed breakfast for us. Mourad was very sweet and helpful, and arranged a taxi for our early departure. I loved staying at Riad Rassia. Amina, the owner, has put so much care into the place, and it shows in the details: tiles from a local Fes business, artwork by local artists, handmade lampshades, and Fes carpets. I spent hours just looking around. It feels like a work of art. The owner and staff looked after us and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast room is beautiful too. I highly recommend this riad.
