We stayed two nights, and this was easily the loveliest accommodation of our eight-day trip through Morocco. Every part of the riad has so much character, and it felt like a peaceful oasis in the heart of Fes. What I’ll remember most is the kindness we were shown after a small mishap on our first night. We were welcomed so warmly that it felt like being taken in by family. That generosity meant a lot to us. The restaurant is worth trying at least once. We had one of the best meals of our trip there. It was a special place that quickly felt like home, and I hope to return soon.

The owners were incredibly helpful. They arranged porters to carry our bags back to the car at 3am for our early flight, and even printed our boarding passes.

We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. The room was spotless and well cared for, the bed was very comfortable, and they let us check in before 3 p.m. We got a very warm welcome and someone even met us nearby, which is invaluable in the medina. For an easier arrival, call the riad ahead of time and let the taxi driver speak with them directly. They can tell the driver the best place to drop you off, then give you clear directions for finding the riad. Breakfast was delicious, with a huge selection and plenty to eat. Knowing some French or Spanish helps because communication can get a little chaotic at times. Usually you can manage, though. One family member speaks good English, and there’s a translator available if needed. We highly recommend the place.
