Riad Sidrat Fes

We loved our stay here. Everyone made us feel welcome and at home, and Ishmael was especially kind, going out of his way to help. The setting is perfect, and we found this part of the medina easy to get around, with plenty of nearby choices for great food. Highly recommend!

We loved being tucked into the medina, with a parking lot close enough to make moving our luggage easy. After comparing lots of riads, Riad Sidrat Fes won us over for that location and the hospitality people mentioned in the reviews. Meriem and Mohamed made a wonderful start to our Morocco trip, always ready to do more for us. Our room felt cozy but had plenty of space; the bathroom was small, as we already knew. Breakfast was great, and we were treated so warmly. Staying in a good Moroccan riad really does feel like being at home.

The old building has lovely tile and plasterwork around a beautiful courtyard, and the location made it easy to head further into the Medina or walk uphill toward the Madrasa and Blue Gate. We also chose it because the rental car could stay in a nearby secure parking lot. During our two nights at this refurbished, 400-year-old riad, the staff were friendly and helpful. We were traveling for a month and had only identified two places where we might get laundry done. They gladly washed our clothes and had them back by the afternoon for a reasonable price. The room was beautiful, breakfast was incredible, and we appreciated the suggestions and warm smiles. Truly a beautiful Riad.

Right in the Medina, Riad Sidrat Fes put us within easy walking distance of everything and right among all the bustle. The property is stunning, clearly ancient but beautifully cared for, and the rooms were clean, lovely, and quite spacious. Mariam, Mohammed, and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful. Their warm breakfasts each morning came with such fresh, delicious food that we were spoiled. Out of all our stays during 12 days in Morocco, this was our favorite. I'd love to return someday.
