Riad Tizwa Fes

The rooms were spacious, breakfast was generous, and the location was fantastic. On Merieme’s recommendation, we bought a rug at the coop, and it turned out great. Thanks to her and the whole team for looking after us so well. This was one of the best riads we stayed at in Morocco, and I'd book it without hesitation.

We'd happily come back and recommend it to anyone after a cozy, beautiful stay in Fes. The rooms have nice decor and lighting, and feel comfortable. Breakfast was good, though a bit more variety might help if you're there for several nights. The historic riad sits at the edge of the medina, which made it easy to reach the main sights without having to navigate the old city's maze every day. We felt well looked after.

Meryem, the manager, and her team took care of everything we needed, even though we were probably quite demanding. My cousin Jenny and I first stayed at Riad Tizwa in February after friends recommended it, and it was better than we expected. I enjoyed it so much that I'm returning in May, and I'll celebrate one of my birthdays there in 2027. The rooms, design, furnishings, and breakfast were all wonderful. If you're going to Fes, I'd suggest staying here. You'll love it.

Merième and the staff are so warm that staying here feels a bit like visiting a friend. She can quickly arrange guides, restaurant bookings, tours, or whatever else you need. Her suggestions are there if you want them, with no pressure, and every restaurant she recommended was good, some really excellent. The riad is beautiful, clean, and carefully restored, with good-quality bedding and duvets. February was chilly, but the duvet kept us very warm. Some rooms are a little dim, which is part of being in a riad. It's easy to find and not far from the Blue Gate. Merième is outstanding at sorting things out. She treats every problem as something with a solution.
