Riad Le Pã¨lerin

We’d never been to Morocco before, and the staff at Riad Le Pèlerin made the trip feel like home from our first email to our final goodbyes. They were attentive and accommodating, and even arranged transfers between locations and the airport. Rashid gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The location is ideal, with all the attractions a short walk away. Every morning, breakfast was simple, fresh, beautiful, and very satisfying. Riad Le Pèlerin was fantastic.

We loved our five-night stay in the Merzouga room, with its comfortable king bed and enough room to unpack, spread out, and rest without feeling crowded. The rooftop terrace was gorgeous, cozy, and well equipped, a great place to relax. We also had a pleasant, memorable cooking class with Rachida. The breakfasts were simple, fresh, beautiful, and satisfying. The whole property is gorgeous and carefully put together, with a cohesive design that invites you to relax. This was our first time in Morocco, and choosing somewhere to stay felt overwhelming. My wife LOL made the final call on Riad Le Pèlerin, and we’re so glad she did. From the start, the staff were prompt, attentive, and accommodating with every request and change. Rashid was among the many wonderful people who made us feel at home when we arrived. Morocco far exceeded my expectations, and Riad Le Pèlerin was a big part of that. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff were relaxed and exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious, and it was very good value for money. We stayed one night and loved every second. Finding it means winding through a maze of backstreets that at first makes you wonder if you’ll ever be seen again! But that’s part of the charm and gives you a welcome break from the busy Medina.

The rooms have a lovely, home-like feel, and the interior is stunning. What really made the stay, though, was the staff. Their English may be limited, but they kept trying to understand what I needed and were genuinely wonderful. The riad is reached through a few alleyways, which felt completely safe, though food delivery drivers might get lost. I really loved staying here and would definitely recommend it. Huge credit to the team for their service.
