The heated pool was a nice bonus, though its opening and closing times seemed random. Cleaning was generally fine, but the room service timing varied, early some days and quite late on others. We also found the front desk mostly friendly and helpful, and the property felt clean, quiet, and well looked after. The pools are nicely designed and, while not very big, didn’t feel crowded or noisy because the hotel itself is fairly small. Food was generally good, with decent variety and presentation. The Moroccan evening was well organized and a nice idea, but the main course came around 10pm and was a bit cold, which isn’t great for families with children. Dining in was expensive, about 250-300 MAD per person, though that may be typical for hotels. The hotel is a little outside Marrakesh, so a taxi to or from the center costs around 150 MAD one way. We booked excursions through the hotel and were initially told we could pay any time before checkout. But one reception staff member kept pressing us to pay immediately whenever we passed by. Maybe that was because we hadn’t left a deposit, but the policy should be explained clearly at the start to avoid confusion. It’s a good place to have a peaceful break from the city bustle, as long as you’re comfortable with those downsides. I’d recommend it.

I came away feeling rested and would love to return. The warm pool was the highlight for me, perfect for swimming and unwinding. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, a lovely end to our trip. I was very happy here. Everyone was kind and attentive, from reception to the staff who showed us around the hotel. I also had a manicure, pedicure, and massage, and each was excellent. Rahma looked after me with real care. We didn’t speak each other’s languages, but the whole time still felt easy and comfortable 🫶💕 I specifically wanted to stay somewhere run by local Moroccans rather than a large international chain, and I’m so glad I chose this place.

A lovely place to unwind, about a 30-minute drive from the medina. The suites are great, and the outdoor grounds are superb, with three pools and plenty of quiet spots. The restaurant food could be better for a five-star hotel. Don’t skip the hammam and massage session.

The palm-lined pool, terracotta arches, and garden paths all feel made for quiet reflection. The whole place reminded me of Liet-Kynes’s dream in Dune, a lush sanctuary full of water in the desert. Tigmiza feels like an oasis, tucked away from busy Marrakech, with greenery and the calming sound of water in its courtyards. The beef tagine was unforgettable, rich, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Dinner felt special among the candlelight, Moroccan architecture, and warm smiles. Hospitality was incredible from the moment we arrived. Every staff member was genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to help. Ousama, the manager, deserves a special mention. He went above and beyond to get every detail right and made us feel like the only guests there. For luxury that feels authentic, with personal and heartfelt service, Tigmiza is a wonderful choice.

We stayed in a villa at Tigmiza Hotel for four days, and it’s a hidden gem. Every area has a beautiful scene and view, and it’s so relaxing you don’t want to leave. The villas have Shattaf, though the rooms don’t. Breakfast was amazingly delicious. Thanks to Saad, Kareema, and all the staff for making our stay so great.
