Riad Ushuaia La Villa - Centre Marrakech

Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, the rooms are always clean, and the staff are fantastic and helpful. It’s a great boutique hotel, though you’ll need a taxi to get where you want to go since it’s not close to the city centre. A taxi into the centre costs about £8, so it’s not expensive. Download the app and use it, as the guys on the street will rip you off.

The villa itself is very nice, with a great pool, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. They kindly upgraded our room for all but the last night, and we were grateful. It’s actually far out in a very residential area on the outskirts of town, in Targa, despite being advertised on the Agoda dot com portal as Centre Ville, or town center. It isn’t close to the center at all. I left a review on Agoda as requested, praising the place and staff, while also mentioning the distance. I also said the room on our last night was disappointing because the bathroom was across the hall rather than en-suite. The room’s decor, a very high contrast painting of naked women pole dancing, reminded me of a strip club or bordello. The owner’s response came word for word through my personal What's App: “Hello, I will very happy to reveive your review. 1st we didnt oblige you to book the room in my hôtel. 2nd when my team gave you a best room, You might have the delicacy of being nice and not to say lies. They were great about accommodating my gluten intolerance and other dietary restrictions, going above and beyond to help. The staff take a warm, personal approach to hospitality. You get to know them, and they get to know you. Best staff and service.

The rooms themselves are impressive, with appealing colours, artwork, and facilities. This lovely hotel is in a private, enclosed area with a pool and a bar. The surroundings and décor are immaculate, and the staff keep everything very well maintained. I can fully recommend it.
