The only small drawback was that there was no way to make tea or coffee in the room, so bring a travel kettle if you'd like that option. Otherwise, I'd happily recommend this place and stay again. We spent 4 nights here at the end of April '25, a great base for exploring the southern Medina. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and spoke several languages. Breakfast was continental-style, served from 8:30 til 10:30, and very filling. The rooms were basic but clean and quiet, with good A/C. There's also a nice, clean, cool plunge pool on the shaded rooftop terrace.

The kindness of the owner and staff really stood out. On two excursion days we had to get up well before breakfast, so they showed us how to make coffee and serve ourselves some food. They were helpful without being intrusive. We stayed at this riad for three nights, and the location was excellent for exploring the city. Our room was beautiful, cleanliness was good, and breakfast was excellent. I absolutely recommend staying here.

The staff were all very kind, and I still really enjoyed my 2 nights there. Breakfast was wonderful, and the location is very central and close to the city center. I tried booking an airport transfer, but there must have been a mix-up. It was still OK. The hot water in my shower didn't work, and the pool was broken during my stay. I chose not to try the jacuzzi.

The beds felt just right, and the room was spotless. After a shower it got very steamy, so opening the windows helps. The staff were lovely, and the main attractions were an easy walk away. Breakfast was fine for getting the day started, though nothing special. A comfortable, clean place to stay, and I'd recommend it.
