The staff were so kind, welcoming, and friendly, and the hospitality was incredible. The rooftop pool and bar were great for sunbathing, and the rooms are beautiful. You’re a six-minute walk from the carre eden mall, with plenty of restaurants and bars just a minute from the hotel. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay again when I visit Marrakesh.

The hotel itself is nice, but the laundry service was very disappointing. We’re staying three nights on a Gate1 tour and planned to have laundry done here. After our city tour on the first day, we got back around 1:30pm. I told the desk clerk we didn’t have a laundry bag but did have a paper, and she said someone would bring a bag up. We went for lunch on the terrace expecting to find it in our room afterwards, but it wasn’t there. Around 3pm we called to ask again. We were told a bag would be brought up, but the laundry wouldn’t be ready until 8pm the following night. Now it’s 7pm and there’s still no bag. I don’t know if the problem is with housekeeping or the desk, but the service has been poor. I really think they could have handled this much better.

A special thank you to Fatima at the front office and Chayema at the restaurant. Fatima arranged the anniversary surprise my better half requested, and Chayema was so kind and attentive at breakfast. The staff were smiling and welcoming. It’s a small boutique property with a rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant, plus spa facilities and a buzzing ground-floor restaurant bar. The hotel is 2-3 km from the center, an easy walk or MAD 20-30 by cab. We stayed in the lifestyle suite, which was spacious and well lit, though the WC seats were worn. The Prestige Suite was spacious too, with a terrace, 1.5 bathrooms, and clean facilities. The kettle was dirty, and the room felt too dark at night for us. The bar and restaurant are great, and the food alone is worth staying for. See my review of the “Patron” restaurant. The hotel has big, cozy rooms and friendly staff who are mostly professional. It’s a great hotel, and it could be amazing. Small things weren’t always handled well. For example, drinking water in the room is crucial in Africa because tap water can make you sick. I called kindly every day, four or five times, asking for water. Sometimes it eventually arrived, often just a tiny bottle that wasn’t enough even for brushing your teeth. The parking situation was confusing too. I had a reserved space for hotel guests, but parking was rarely available, and people outside the hotel tried to charge me extra, causing problems every day.
