Hôtel Agnaou was a holiday disaster. Renovations made the place noisy and dusty, and I couldn’t report the problems because the reception was also undergoing renovations. The bathroom had mold, the shower wouldn’t drain and the floor flooded. The TV had no sound.

I booked through booking and didn’t like the first room, so they moved me to another one that was very big. Very good service for a low price. I fully recommend it.

The breakfast was a big plus for me. The location is great and very central, and it’s great value for money. Just don’t expect the Ritz.

The hotel has a café, which is handy for a quick bite or coffee. Staff were polite and tried to help, though we had some difficulty communicating in English. The rooms are quite small, and there’s no wheelchair access or lift, which could make it hard for anyone with mobility issues. It’s right at the edge of the Souq in Marrakech, with lively night activity and street shopping that’s surprisingly affordable. The area felt safe, even late at night, and it’s a good base for exploring the market streets and surrounding nightlife. It’s an OK budget stay if you want a central location.

The owner was very polite, even when I checked in around midnight. The room was okay, and for the price you get everything you can ask for. I had a good stay and breakfast was good too.
