The apartments were clean and well equipped, the location was great, and the staff were wonderful.

The apartment was clean apart from the floor, and it was quiet, but the old furniture didn’t look nearly as fancy as the listing suggested. We’d expected a relaxing spa hotel outside the medina and were disappointed by how different things were from the description. There was no sauna or spa area, and no whirlpool. The pool area looked disgusting. When we asked about the sauna, we were told we could book a hamam for the day after tomorrow. The stay was okay in itself, but this is a normal hotel and felt completely overpriced for what it was. It’s not a resort.

Isham at reception gave us a warm welcome and told us about Moroccan food and the country’s different landscapes on our first night. His enthusiasm for Marrakesh, his home, was lovely and inspired us during the trip. The female receptionist also helped us find a nearby place to get medication. Very kind, helpful people, and a great introduction to Morocco. The location was handy, just a five-minute walk from a shopping mall. Our apartment was clean and nice, about what we expected for the price. The bathroom and kitchen could use some renovation, though. We didn’t cook much, but had the utensils we needed. The heater and air conditioning were useful for cold nights and warm days. Sadly, the pool was empty and looked like it was being renovated while we were there.

The location was central, the sheets were clean, and the staff were very nice and responsive. Breakfast was good, though at 80 MAD per person you could also walk down to Paul. The rest was really bad. The place needs serious renovation. Wi-Fi barely worked, the towels were so old they should be rags, and the bathrooms were falling apart.
