Riad Sadaka

It’s a peaceful place inside, a good distance from the busy Medina. The rooms feel modern and are nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. The interior was incredible, and the two cats were the cutest. One of the best stays I’ve had, and an excellent place to stay in Marrakech.

The staff made a real effort to notice what we liked. After the first breakfast, they picked up that we weren’t coffee drinkers, didn’t want yoghurt, and preferred our grapes without seeds. The next day there was less coffee, mint tea instead, no yoghurt, and seedless grapes. Nadia and Abdul were so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Nadia’s cooking was great too, especially the Moroccan salad and pastilla. We also tried the reasonably priced rooftop Hammam, which was very relaxing. The riad has a lovely pool in a shared area, and the staff helped us with the pool temperature. There’s also a roof terrace where we had breakfast and dinner. It was nice to get away from the petrol fumes and bustle of the Medina. The five rooms each have an ensuite. Some are a bit dark, and there’s no fridge in the rooms. The kitchen is off limits. Two very cute cats live there and kept us entertained. It’s tucked into an alley and you can only get there on foot or by bike. We booked an airport transfer; the car dropped us as close as it could, then Abdul met us and walked us to the riad. The spot is convenient, with most tourist sights walkable, restaurants and cafes close by, and an ATM nearby. One of the highlights of our Marrakech trip. 100% recommend!

The staff were what really stayed with me. Everyone was generous, thoughtful, and attentive, and they went out of their way to help. I’ve never had hotel staff look after me so well. I’d return in a heartbeat. I spent my last two nights in Marrakech here. The riad is gorgeous, with harmonious interiors, spacious, well-designed rooms, comfortable beds, and a yummy breakfast. You can eat in the sun outside, in the little winter garden on the roof, or beside the nice small pool. The value for the price is hard to beat. It is near a mosque, so the muezzin woke us at least once a day. That’s part of Marrakech, though, and part of its magic. Earplugs are cheap.

Cherif was a really nice guy and always did his best to meet the guests’ needs. We had a great time at Riad Sadaka, a charming, quiet place that was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the dinners were excellent. Thank you!
