We had a wonderful first visit to Marrakech, with the Riad booked through our travel agency. Our room was spacious and beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helped with everything we needed. It's in a quiet part of the Medina, close to everything, though you can't drive right up to it. There's a short walk from the main Square.

Mustafa was so attentive and kind, and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was superb each morning. This lovely private Riad is in a surprising spot, quiet but still close to everything. I've stayed here twice now and will be back. Thank you so much.

The Classic Double room was comfortable and had AC. Just be aware that the shower is open to the room, which could matter if you're sharing with a friend or family member. If you need something ironed, tell the team ahead of time, since housekeeping will do it for you rather than bringing an iron to the room. And although there's a pool, it seemed more decorative to me. It's a great place tucked away from the busy medina, though it can be tricky to find at first. Use Google Maps to get to L’Mida, follow the road down, then turn left at the rugs. The hosts are happy to meet you there. Mohamed, Kamal, and the housekeeping lady made us feel welcome with mint tea and biscuits when we arrived. We also got early morning coffee instead of breakfast when we had an excursion. On mornings we could join breakfast, it was enjoyable and varied. I'd recommend staying here in the heart of the medina.

It's a beautifully designed, calm spot in the middle of the medina. The price and value were wonderful, and the staff were friendly. There were many women travellers, and as a solo female traveller I'd feel comfortable coming here on my own. The location is great too, just a one-minute walk from the small spice market, with lovely shops and restaurants close by. I can't recommend this place enough 💚
