The hotel looks nice and breakfast was good, but the hygiene was awful. We found hair in the beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms, and there was even a lizard in one of the rooms. Room service handled that badly. We were given different rooms, and while we were there an attendant aggressively changed the sheets to show they were clean. That’s no way to treat customers. It was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had.

The rooms are decent, with good showers, and the location and pool are both good. The pool is a nice size, too. Some staff were friendly, while others seemed not to understand customer service. The buffet is what really let the hotel down. There was no variety, just the same food every day. That might be fine for the large coach groups staying one night before heading to the airport, but it gets boring if you’re there for three nights or more. The breakfast orange juice was especially disappointing: it came from a machine as a fizzy, orange-colored drink that seemed like powdered mix. In a city of oranges, in a country known for its beautiful oranges, that felt insulting. A real shame. If you skip the buffet and aren’t staying long, this hotel could be ideal.

We had a good experience at Hotel Atlas Asni. It’s affordable and comfortable enough, with clean rooms, though the beds aren’t the most comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and good, and the restaurant staff were very polite and good at their jobs. The lunch and dinner buffets were really good, especially the desserts. If you want a lavish hotel, this isn’t the place for you, but it’s decent.

The air conditioning worked well, and our room had a balcony. The hotel is decent for the price, but generally worn. Our shower wall attachment was broken, and the mini fridge didn’t work. They didn’t repair it. Room service was hard to reach, and reception didn’t listen to complaints. Other guests apparently could add charges to our room bill. I was billed for restaurant dinners I hadn’t had. After I pointed it out and waited 15 minutes, they removed the charge. I wouldn’t book here again.
