Be nomad Hostel

We were very comfortable in the room at the very top of the rooftop terrace at Be Nomad. The hosts were welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. A lovely place to stay in the Medina.

The rooftop was wonderfully relaxed, with seating right in the sun for days when you want to take it easy. Our room was comfortable, with good beds and air conditioning. The hosts were friendly, great company, and went out of their way to make us welcome. They recommended good food, helped us get good prices in the souk, and even played cards with us in the evenings. Right in the centre of the old town, the riad is perfectly placed to experience Marrakesh’s energy and atmosphere. Great comfort and location for such a good price. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

For the price, the riad itself was very nice. Our flight got in early at 7am, so while we waited for the cleaning lady to prepare our room, they let us wait on the upstairs terrasse. He tried to get it ready as fast as he could, which was nice. The host helped us find some good places, and they prepared a breakfast to-go bag since we needed to head to Majorelle garden early. We were on the ground floor and could hear some kids playing in the morning and at night, but they usually went to sleep by 23:00pm. The bath towels were the only downside we noticed. Apart from that, it was a great riad for the price, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

The rooftop was such a lovely, peaceful place to unwind, and the hosts made us feel right at home. The hostel has just five rooms, I think, with around eight people staying at a time, so it was easy to meet other travelers. Our room had a comfortable bed, clean sheets, a warm blanket, and a lock on the door. Towels were provided, but bring your own shampoo and body wash. The bathrooms and other facilities were clean, and we could use the kitchen, stove, and fridge. Breakfast costs €2.50. It’s in a great location, the hosts are kind and helpful, and it’s excellent value. I’d absolutely recommend it.
