Riad Celia

Right in the heart of the Medina, this is a lovely traditional riad. The decor feels authentic and carefully chosen, the rooftop is wonderful, and the rooms were spotless and had air conditioning. Mourad was always around and ready to help, and the whole team was kind and attentive. Everything about the stay was incredible, and we recommend it completely.

The central location is great, though street noise is high because of it. Breakfast was good, and it was a treat to eat beside the pool. The service was very kind throughout, with good communication and an easy, very late check-in. We booked at the last minute through a booking app after seeing the reviews, for two nights. The riad is nicely decorated, with a pool and rooftop spots to relax. Our room was a bit disappointing: it was on the top floor and had no windows. Since we mostly just slept there, it was okay for such a short visit. I'd still suggest a lower-floor room. All in all, a good experience.

The rooftop patio is gorgeous, and you can catch a fantastic sunrise up there. Mohammed and Omar did everything they could to make us comfortable, including moving several people in our group to larger rooms. They can also help arrange excursions like hot air balloon rides and airport shuttles. The free breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Rooms vary in size and decor; some are on the small side, but all were clean and comfortable. The mattresses are very firm if that's your preference. Great restaurants, shops, and attractions are within walking distance.

One of the guys at the riad was funny and had a great smile, and customer service was good. In Marrakech, where people out on tours seemed to be trying to take advantage, that was the best part of the stay. The room was clean and a decent size, though the bed could've been more comfortable. The room doors seemed a little too easy to get into, but luckily the outside door was kept locked. The place could use some updating and maintenance. The riad was okay overall.
