Saida deserves a special mention for that wonderful smile every day! The staff looked after us so well and keep the place in great condition. It’s a pretty, clean, well-kept riad in a fantastic spot, in a quieter part of the Medina but still very close to everything. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The room was pretty spacious, and the evening staff were attentive. Breakfast was disappointing, though, since it was just the same pastries every morning.

Jalal welcomed us like royalty, always smiling and eager to help, attentive and ready with a kind word. Thank you, Jalal, you were wonderful. The riad is beautiful and clean, about a 10-minute walk from Jemaa El Fna square and 5 minutes from the Mellah square, which was handy for meeting taxis and drivers for activities and excursions. Our room looked stunning, but being on the ground floor meant very little privacy. It was on the main route staff and guests used for breakfast and for coming and going at all hours. We could hear everything, and the doorbell was disruptive too. Maybe a doorbell connected to a mobile phone, or giving guests an extra set of keys so it doesn’t have to ring, could help. We couldn’t relax as much as we’d hoped and had to keep the windows closed to block the view into the room, which also kept the light out. I think guests should be told about this when booking that room, so there aren’t any unpleasant surprises. Even so, we’d happily return to this riad, but we’d choose an upstairs room next time. The owner was friendly and very attentive. We had a minor issue with the cleaning lady, but it wasn’t a big deal. The riad was always very clean, and breakfast was delicious and freshly made. It’s conveniently located near the center. I’d definitely pick it again.
