I had a great two-night stay here on my own as a woman, and I’d highly recommend the place. The staff were helpful and gave me lovely service from the moment I arrived, even helping with my luggage from the Uber and offering Moroccan mint tea. When I booked an evening hammam and massage through reception, someone walked with me there and back, a 10-minute walk each way, which was really nice. The room was good with a beautiful bathroom, everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool made the stay perfect. 10/10, would recommend.

The architecture, trees, flowers, Arabic chandeliers and pools made the place feel like stepping into Andalusian times. We came for a birthday weekend and left with a beautiful memory. Mohamed, Fatima, Yessin and Abdelaheed were warm and welcoming, always ready to help, and quick with a joke to make us smile. We'd definitely like to come back.

Travelling with bikes can be awkward, but the staff helped us find larger taxis and store our bike boxes. They were attentive throughout and made us feel really welcome. The riad itself is pretty and clean, and our room was lovely. It felt quite different from staying in a hotel. A few staff members spoke excellent English, which was helpful for English-speaking visitors. Thanks so much to everyone, especially samir!

After exploring the Medina, we loved resting by one of the gorgeous pools in the riad's beautiful patios. Dar Baraka is a hidden gem in Marakech, with lovely decor, birdsong, peaceful light and quiet that made the place feel like the Arabian Nights. Mohamed, Fatima, Yessin and Abdelaheed brought that famous Moroccan warmth and hospitality, and made us feel like we were staying in a palace.

The rooftop was such a lovely place to relax, with a calm and pleasant feel. The riad is made up of three connected houses, and little staircases lead to rooms with beautiful decor. Imane, Fatima, and Mohammed made us feel welcome at any hour, early morning or late evening. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return.
