Dar Beija

The rooftop terrace was a lovely extra, and the rooms were spotless with working air conditioning. Breakfast was sweet, with an omelette available if you wanted one. We spent a weekend at this riad in the heart of the Medina, and it turned out to be a great choice. The host was helpful and kind, the interior was beautiful, and incense gave the place a lovely smell. Very welcoming and hospitable, we'd recommend it.

The location is close to the main attractions but still peaceful. Dar Beija is full of charm, clean, and beautiful, and the staff were so kind and attentive that we felt at home. A great choice if you're after an authentic Marrakech stay. Highly recommend.

We loved the rooftop terrace and the cool, refreshing pool, especially in the extreme heat wave when we visited, 108 F. We stayed in the private top floor suite, which was nicely decorated and comfortable. The lower rooms might be a bit cooler, but the air conditioning kept ours comfortable. The staff were kind, helpful and attentive, and the service was excellent. The riad is in a walkable, quiet part of the Medina that felt very safe. One sweet highlight was the little gray kitten who guarded the door outside. He was friendly and completely stole our hearts, and it mattered to us that the staff treated him kindly too.

Said treated us so well, and his friendly jokes made the stay even better. This beautiful, cozy riad is quiet and has a great rooftop view. It's only steps from major sights, and the location is great. The neighborhood felt a little sketchy at night, though being close to the road made it less concerning.
