Ahmed and Ismail were so kind and hospitable, helping us whenever we needed and seeing to all our needs. We had a lovely four-night stay. The riad is within a reasonable distance of the main sites and attractions, and the breakfast was lovely each morning. Our room and bathroom were clean. I'd definitely recommend coming here. The roof terrace was a lovely place for breakfast, afternoon sunshine, reading, or just relaxing. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, though full marks to the local cockadoodledoo! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our enjoyable four-night stay. The location also makes it easy to reach the old town streets and shops.

Ahmed, who always seemed to take charge, was such a kind and hospitable host. I'm not sure if he was the official manager, but he made recommendations for places to visit, booked taxis for us, and did his best to answer all our questions about the city and Morocco. The food was excellent, with a good range at breakfast and a couple of delicious tagine dinners, all served on the peaceful roof terrace. Our bedroom had simple but elegant decor, and the air-conditioning worked reliably. Everything felt clean and fresh. My only small quibble was the lack of a curtain or screen around the shower, which left the bathroom floor damp nearby. This little Riad is a wonderful calm spot amid Marrakech's busy streets. I'll book it again next time I'm lucky enough to visit this beautiful, crazy city.

I stayed at this riad a few days ago and had a frightening experience. At about 7am, I woke to loud structural noises from the wall, with what sounded like debris falling. I was genuinely scared and didn't feel safe staying in the building, so I packed my things and left, afraid the structure might collapse. I've contacted Booking.com twice since then and haven't had a response yet. I'm not asking for a refund. My concern is safety, and I would hate for something serious to happen to future guests or staff. The host was very kind, but I felt the seriousness of what happened was downplayed and that the risks weren't being taken seriously enough. I strongly advise against staying here until the building has had a thorough structural assessment. Safety should come first.
