Abdou and Hasna were the only good part of this stay. They were warm and kind. I would never book here again. There was no ventilation in the rooms, and the strong bleach smell was worrying. The windows faced straight toward our bed, so we had to choose between privacy and airflow. Nothing dried, including our towels, which were always wet. The reused travel-size soap bottles were rusting, the room felt very claustrophobic, and the lighting was poor. I booked two superior double rooms but only received [sic]. I didn't raise it because I didn't want more trouble with Hafiz, the manager. I paid the local taxes on arrival, but Hafiz didn't record that, so we were later questioned about whether we'd paid. They charged 18 euro for dinner for four people, which was just two chicken tajines. An appetizer had been mentioned in our conversation but wasn't served. I had to remind them about dessert, which was apples and bananas in orange juice. It felt absolutely horrible and scammy. Please don't eat here. Eating out costs a quarter of the price. We arrived late with a baby and felt we had no choice. They charge for tea too.

The taxi can't reach the door because cars are restricted in the area, so you have to walk 20m. The place is hard to find, and I wouldn't recommend arriving late at night. It was too loud for rest, with other guests chatting and partying right next to our room. If you haven't stayed in a riad before and really value a good night's sleep, stay away. Don't be misled by the good reviews. This seems better suited to teens and young adults.

Simo was the best host you could ask for. He looked after me and the others around the clock and made the stay memorable, a real Moroccan cultural experience. He deserves a 10/10, and I'll be back 😂. The place was spotless all day and felt incredibly homey, with kind staff constantly cleaning and making sure we were comfortable. There was always lovely tea to keep us going while we enjoyed Marrakesh. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms large, and the rooftop was great for relaxing. They served a small breakfast to get the day started. It's centrally located in the Souk, and the alleys are well lit, so you feel completely safe.

Getting there with our luggage took about a 10-minute walk, which could be a bit challenging for some, even though the riad is just minutes from Jemaa el-Fna. Once there, we were warmly welcomed, and the team stayed kind, generous and attentive throughout our visit. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the Moroccan breakfast was simple, fresh and carefully made. I asked for dinner on the rooftop at 8 PM, and they arranged everything with care. It was a peaceful, memorable evening under the stars. The calm atmosphere and sincere hospitality made this a place I highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay in Marrakesh so special.
