The photos were accurate, and the room was cute, with what you'd need for a budget stay. My room had AC, and the rooftop was a nice place to hang out. The bathroom can smell, so just don't keep the door shut. The owner really made the place for me because he was so nice. I was there for just one night and left very early.

The host was very accommodating, and the location made it easy to get to and from the Medina and the markets. My room was a decent size, and breakfast was delicious, ready as soon as I sat down. The booking said toiletries would be provided, but they weren't there. I had brought my own, so I didn't ask, though I'm sure the kind host would have supplied them if I'd requested them. Excellent value for money.

We were happy with the room and the service for £25 per day, including bed and breakfast through booking.com. The owner, Mohmmad, was helpful when we asked for towels and toilet paper, and he brought them. The room, bathroom, shower, and toilet were acceptable. Breakfast was generous, with bread, paratas, pancakes, jam, honey, tea, coffee, and milk, though eggs would have been a welcome addition. The location in Bab Doukala was good, about 10 to 15 minutes from jemm el fana and koutobia mosque.

We left two days early, after staying just one night, but the owner wouldn't refund the payment for those unused days. The room smelled like a sewer or toilet, though the owner said he couldn't smell anything. There was no fire alarm or smoke detector, and the room felt like a fire trap. The aircon was extremely loud and didn't work properly. All in all, terrible.
