Hotel Riad Chami

The owner was attentive and very helpful, and the location in the Medina was perfect. Our room was spotless, with excellent cleaning service, and breakfast was generous. They can also pack breakfast for you if you have an early excursion.

Breakfast was far beyond a five star standard, and it changed every day. It was served on the second floor rooftop. The rooms were modern and richly decorated, with a hair dryer, kettle, instant Nescafe, and chocolates. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was free WiFi too. This was one of the best Riads I've stayed in Marrakech. It's very central, right by the main square (Zoco), and I'd highly recommend it.

The staff were awesome, which was the one real plus. The rooms, at least ours, were tiny, dark, sparsely furnished, and had no proper windows. There was no pool either, which is unusual. The location is right by the center, so it's busy and full of tourists. Pick somewhere in the Medina, just not right in the middle of what feels like Times Square. I've stayed in several Riads in Morocco, and this was easily the most disappointing.

Just a short walk, under a minute, from Jemma el-Fna square, so the location is hard to beat. We stayed a few days while in Marrakech, and the rooms were impeccably clean. The shower floor was a little slippery, though that's an easy thing to fix. Definitely a five star place in the heart of the city.
