Jan 2023. After a few hours in the Medina, the quiet here was just what we needed. There are only a few rooms, and there’s no restaurant or live music at night. Our room was very spacious, with basic amenities and simple, elegant decor. The staff were really friendly, and I’d recommend the Riad. One thing from my own attempt: don’t try to drive up to the hotel. Park somewhere else and walk over.

Once you step inside Talaa 12, it’s calm and peaceful, even though the Riad is centrally placed near the main attractions. Muhammad looked after us so well and made sure we had what we needed. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast, and they also prepared vegan options to suit our dietary needs. Such lovely hospitality, we had a wonderful stay.

The shared spaces and rooms at Riad Talaa12 are really well designed, and our room gave us plenty of space to breathe and unwind. We spent four nights there and loved it. The staff were kind, thoughtful, and always ready to listen or offer a good recommendation. It’s right in the middle of everything the lively city has to offer, and I can’t think of a thing to complain about. Thank you 🫶

The staff made our visit feel so warm and easy. Karam, Mohammed and the rest of the team went out of their way for us. They arranged our transfers, Mohammed booked taxis for our evening restaurant outings, and he even walked us back from the taxi station at night so we wouldn’t get lost. When our group had different flights on the last day, my sister could keep using the room until her afternoon departure, and they cooked her lunch too. Breakfast was delicious and served each day on one of the lovely terraces. The suite was spacious, gorgeous, and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a little private sitting spot on the landing overlooking the patio. The air conditioning was much appreciated during the still-hot September nights. The Riad was peaceful, especially during the day when other guests were out. It’s in a quieter part of the Medina, close to the souks and right next to Medersa Ben Youssef, so it was easy to find. A wonderful place to stay. I’d absolutely recommend it and would come back to Marrakech.

Othman really stood out. He was so friendly and made sure every question and need we had was taken care of right away. The rest of the staff were generally helpful and welcoming too. The Riad has a lovely, authentic feel, and breakfast was delicious. We had a really enjoyable, authentic experience here and would recommend it.
