Four days after we booked, the hotel told us they would either cancel our reservation or charge us four times as much. Now, with only four days left before we arrive in Marakesh, we have to find somewhere else. I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior and think it’s unacceptable. My friends and I are very upset and disappointed. The hotel gave us only those two choices, cancellation or paying four times more, with no chance to discuss it or have them honor the booking.

The hotel confirmed our reservation, then changed the price four days later and said we could either accept the new price or cancel. That felt very unprofessional and unreliable. Luckily, we found out early enough to change the booking. If we hadn’t had internet and learned about it when we arrived, we would have been in trouble.

We booked a room and the hotel confirmed it almost straight away. Four days later, while we were already in Marocco and just before a desert tour lasting several days, they wrote that there was either no room available or we’d have to pay more. We cancelled because we don’t want to support a business that handles things in such a shady way. I’m truly disappointed by how they dealt with the problem. It didn’t feel professional.

We had a bad experience. Nobody spoke English, and the apartment had no toilet paper or towels. We wasted a lot of time trying to discuss things before we could finally understand each other. At night the place felt a little creepy too.

Paid too much for a tub that wouldn’t hold water. I told them, and they confidently said they’d fix it. They didn’t! LOL 😩😁😂🤣
