Le Bled

The farm setting was lovely, with birds in the morning, cute animals, and peacocks. We chose Le Bled Ferme for a girls’ trip and loved the place, the surroundings, and the whole stay. Everyone working there was kind and helpful, and breakfast was lovely too. Getting a cab into the city centre is easy and takes only 10-15 minutes. The person handling the booking thoughtfully upgraded our standard room to a larger, better one. We visited in early March, so the pool was too cold for us to use. I’d recommend coming later in the year to enjoy it more. Definitely recommend. 💯😄✨🦚

The office lady was genuinely nice and professional, but she was the only one who made us feel that way. The place itself is beautiful and works well for a quiet retreat. The waiters were unprofessional, though, and we felt ignored when we asked for things.

The staff were the highlight for us, very welcoming and professional. We stayed here recently with my sister and found the service exceptional. The suite was thoughtfully designed, had a roomy balcony, and was clean and comfortably heated. It’s a quiet, serene setting with farmland, orange, date, and lemon trees, plus vegetable plots. There are swimming pools and outdoor seating areas too. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay, highly recommended.

Breakfast was good, and the receptionist who checked us in was especially kind. When I mentioned that my room smelled a bit, she came over right away and upgraded me to a suite. I appreciate that. I booked mainly for the nature, which was calm and tranquil, with lots of green space. But the price didn’t feel justified by what we got. The rooms, furniture, and fittings can keep an old style without sacrificing comfort: the shower sent water out of the bath and onto the floor, I found cockroaches in the bathroom, the old bed needs replacing, and the floor mats looked heavily used for years. I expected very good traditional Moroccan food, especially at a farm hotel, but the food was disappointing. We ordered couscous on Friday, Morocco’s couscous day, and it was literally tasteless. I live in Rabat and have had excellent couscous elsewhere. Marrakech has become extremely commercial, and it’s hard to find value wherever you go. I wouldn’t call this a terrible place, but it wasn’t very great either. They could offer better value with more suitable pricing. Chef Moha should be able to do wonders with the rural setting he has, especially with the food, but I really don’t know what’s going on.
