We visited in winter and found the Riad surprisingly warm inside, with pretty decor that’s simple and cute. It’s in the calmer Kasbah, within walking distance of the old Medina. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with great beds, a simple nice bathroom and modern air conditioning. The place was very clean and quiet too. Breakfast was good, and the attentive staff were always smiling. You can eat on the terrace. I’d recommend it to any kind of visitor.

Even though it’s close to Marrakech’s lively shopping and tourist area, this Riad is wonderfully peaceful. The place is clean, comfortable and attractive, right in the city center, and the service was very friendly. The sunset from the terrace was indescribably beautiful.

Sabah and Aminah were wonderful hosts, and I found the rooms cool even in summer. I looked forward to breakfast each morning on the roof terrace. From the Kasbah in the old medina, it’s easy to walk to the square and nearby local cafes, and meet people along the way. It was comfortable and quiet. Shukrun Riad Sabah! 💐🥰

The staff met us on the street after our airport taxi dropped us off, and we felt welcome right away. After a long travel day, the mint tea and help finding our way around on the first evening were much appreciated. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we’d stay again. The riad is a pretty, nicely decorated place to return to after exploring. Our room was clean and well cared for, with traditional tadelakt walls and air conditioning that kept it comfortable through the hotter nights. One thing to be aware of, the en-suite shower and toilet don’t offer much privacy, which may surprise Western guests used to hotel rooms, but that’s part of the traditional design. Breakfast on the roof terrace was traditional, nicely presented and a great start to the day.
