Breakfast on the terrace was generous and a lovely way to start the day. The riad is spotless and beautifully decorated, with a quiet, understated kind of grandeur. I loved its distinctive aromas and music, and the treats were wonderful too. Aladin and Hisham were especially kind, friendly and attentive. We were lucky to meet them. If you’re staying in a Marrakech riad, this is the one. No need to keep searching.

The terraces are lovely, with a view of the Atlas Mountains, and the spaces feel bright and airy. It’s conveniently located, and the staff are delightful. A real Moroccan stay with a contemporary touch.

That skylight above the bathtub was my favorite detail. It brought natural light into the room and gave it a peaceful, almost magical feel. My room at L’Écrin was spacious, serene and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The design has the character of Moroccan craftsmanship, with the comfort and polish of a modern boutique hotel. It’s a lovely place to step away from the city’s noise while still feeling connected to Marrakesh. A memorable mix of tradition and modern comfort.

We loved how the riad felt like home, with beautiful decor and kind, discreet staff who were always around when we needed them. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. We also had dinner there one night, and everything was excellent. On our second day we had to leave the riad at 5 a.m. for a hot air balloon ride. The owner thoughtfully left coffee, tea, juice and biscuits so we could eat before setting off. Staying at L'Écrin also gives you access to Ryad La Brillante, just a short walk away, where there’s a wonderful calm pool. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we recommend it 100%! Mathilde and Mathieu
