Le Riad Monceau

We spent four nights at Riad Monceau in Marrakech as a couple, with breakfast and dinner included, and really loved our stay. The staff made it special: everyone was warm and welcoming, took time to chat, offered inspiring city recommendations, and helped with whatever we needed. Our room, “Calif,” was elegant, beautiful, and comfortable. The whole riad felt like a peaceful oasis in the Medina. Dinner at Bistro Arabe was a delight every time, and the food was outstanding. Early April was cooler than we'd expected, with some rain, but Marrakech was still absolutely worth visiting. Coming back to the calm, beautiful riad after exploring made the trip even better. For us, it's five stars for the room, the people, and the food. We'd love to return.

After a bit of a nightmare arrival in Marrakech, my girlfriend and I booked this hotel at the last minute. The staff welcomed us so warmly, offering refreshments right away and helping us feel at ease. Everyone continued to go above and beyond during our stay, and our room was spotless each day. Breakfast every morning was delicious. The restaurant menu was tempting, but it was a little beyond our budget. The rooftop bar suited us perfectly, with a great atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. The welcome turned our trip around and made our short stay in Marrakech special. The location is a real plus: Riad Monceau is right in the center of Marrakech, between the Mellah and Jemaa el Fnaa. The souk is just outside, and its connected lanes seem to go on endlessly, with gifts and trinkets to browse. Restaurants and historic sites are also an easy walk, roughly twenty minutes away. Cars can't drive on the street leading to the riad, so expect a short walk. We had a wonderful stay. Soufiane and Chaymae were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to handle our requests. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:30, and since we had an early flight, the staff made sure we could eat before leaving, which we really appreciated. A beautiful riad with excellent service, and one I'd recommend.

The room was lovely, and the team kept it in great shape every day. The location made it easy to explore the souks and Marekechs tourist spots. But what really sets this place apart is the service. The manager is the best I’ve dealt with anywhere, and I’d happily recommend her for help arranging a trip or dinner, or for advice. Well done, team Monceau.
