Les Jardins De La Medina

The spa staff were wonderful and really good at what they do. Everyone at the hotel was polite and helpful, and the stay felt like sharing a home with family. Our room had plenty of space, was comfortable and spotless, and room service was fantastic. It's a beautiful oasis within the city walls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The spa and hammam were fully booked even in early January, so book ahead if you want to use them. Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable except in the rooms and on the main terrace. The dining room and bar match what the Google description says, which reads as if AI wrote it. We stayed a couple of nights just after New Year in a first-floor room with two terraces. The sun terrace was a good size and had an outdoor shower, though the weather stopped us making much use of it. The room was lovely, tastefully decorated, very quiet, and had a fantastically comfortable bed. Jardins is a fairly short walk from the main Medina attractions, on a quieter street. Staff were always helpful. We loved the garden around which the riad-style rooms are arranged. The birdsong was lovely, and I imagine the garden gives welcome shade in summer.

The hotel was beautiful, and the people working there were helpful. I wouldn't recommend the guide booked through the hotel, though. There was very little historical information, and the tour mainly covered the palace and a walk through the market, which I could have done on my own without paying for it. There are lots of cheaper guides online. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

It's a lovely hotel in a great spot in the old city, with excellent staff and service. Breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were lovely, and the pool was beautiful. My room had a couple of small issues. It seemed to be near some kind of generator that kept switching on and off during the night, which was very annoying. The bed was okay, but not the most comfortable, partly because it was two single beds pushed together.
