Luxurious Duplex in a Peaceful Resort

We booked through booking.com, but the pictures were nothing like what we found. Arriving late at night, the area looked gloomy, and the apartment was visibly awful once we got inside: old furniture, holes all over the couch, and a dirty bathroom. The next day, the neglected landscaping became clear too. The service was okay, as we usually take care of the staff. I hope things improve, because it wasn't up to my standards. I just want a clean room and food service.

The apartment layout was frustrating from the start, with the units far from check-in. The whole place smelled unpleasant, and the infrastructure was outdated, poorly maintained, and broken in several areas. I checked out straight away without spending a night, but they still refused to refund me. One of the worst resorts I've experienced, and that level of service is unacceptable.

The pool was beautiful and a lovely place to unwind after exploring Marrakech. I had such a relaxing stay: the spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, and the grounds, with gardens and palm trees, felt calm and tropical. Staff were kind and went out of their way to help with whatever I needed. It's a little outside the busy center, so it feels like an escape, but taxis make it easy to get around. I'd recommend this resort if you're after a quiet, beautiful retreat.

The apartments have some nice practical touches: a working kitchen with cutlery, plates, and a few pots, a balcony for each unit, daily cleaning, fresh towels, and separate secured internet for each house. The exteriors, greenery, and pool area are beautiful. There's a good grocery shop nearby, Glovo delivery works, and there are great Indian restaurants close by. Air conditioning is provided, and the staff were helpful when we had to carry heavy luggage upstairs, since there are no lifts. Inside, though, the flats are very ordinary and some things are nearly broken. Bathrooms smelled, there was no microwave or dishwashing liquid even when requested, no liquid handwash either, and the vegetable cutting board was nearly broken. The apartments are highly priced for the quality and service.
