The evening manager was the standout: attentive, kind, and keen to help. The hotel's location is fine, with easy access to the old town, French quarter, and airport, though there isn't much nearby and everything is at least a 15-minute walk. The rooms are spacious but basic, and the infrastructure is worn. I've stayed in Ibis hotels with much better facilities and service. The bar and restaurant were underwhelming, and breakfast choices were scarce. It starts at 6:30, but don't expect hot trays, even boiled eggs, or baked goods until well after 7. Accor benefits weren't recognized unless I asked, and even then they refused my membership early check-in. Drinking water isn't safe in Marrakech, but the hotel doesn't provide it, and charges separately for everything.

The breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of options, and the front desk team were friendly and polite. Everyone was ready to help, including the security staff, whether I needed support or a taxi. I had a very pleasant stay at Novotel Marrakech, and I'd happily book with Novotel again if I'm back in the city.

The room was spacious and clean, and room service arrived promptly. What really stood out was how caring and enthusiastic everyone I met was, creating such a warm atmosphere with a lovely local feel. At reception, Aïcha had a tireless, welcoming smile and handled small talk so gracefully. I don't remember the other staff member's name, but I congratulate the team on such excellent recruitment. My stay was comfortable and relaxing.
