Résidence Harmony

We found this apartment to be a real gem after the awful, expensive experience we'd had at riads before arriving. That experience put me off staying in a riad again. If I'd known about this place earlier, I would have booked more days here. The apartment itself is beautiful inside and quite spacious, fully furnished with everything you'd expect for a self-catering stay. The location is also convenient for malls, supermarkets, and restaurants, in Gueliz, the clean side of Marrakech, with a mix of business district and upscale surroundings. It's a welcome break from the busy riads and medinas. The area suits late nights and social gatherings, though it's fairly quiet by day and a bit noisy at night. One issue is the listing on booking.com, where it's called “Luxurious City Apartment,” which could be confusing. The address, 17 Rue du Capitaine Arrigui A1, Gueliz, Marrakech, Morrocco, 4000, doesn't take you to the apartment building, only to the corner of the street you need. Finding the building was tricky, and they should fix the map pin. The foyer and lift lobby need cleaning and better decor. They don't match the quality of the unit we stayed in.
