Riad 9 Derb El Bousnne

We spent six nights there, with most of the Marrakech sights we wanted to see close by. The room was clean, modest, and in very good condition for the price. What stood out most was how caring Abdel was. When the air conditioning stopped working, he was clearly concerned and brought a technician that same night. Once it was clear the unit was the problem, he bought a new one right away and had it installed the next day. That helped make our trip a really pleasant one. 😊

For the price, this place is fair and generally good, though most things are quite basic. The person working there is kind and ready to help whenever needed. The location is convenient, close to the centre and one of the gates, and not far from Majorelle Garden. They offer trips to other places and attractions, but I wouldn't recommend booking those through them. You can probably find cheaper choices, or rent a car and go by yourself. Nothing fancy, just a reasonable stay for the price.

My mom and I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at this riad. Ramadan, the person handling tours, harassed us and flirted with us. One night at 2 am, he even tried to get into our room. We were really scared and moved to another riad the next day. My mother told Ramadan several times that she felt uncomfortable and that we didn't want to talk to him anymore, but he kept insisting. It was incredibly awkward. I have traveled to many countries and never experienced anything like this. I do not recommend this place for women. DON'T STAY IN THIS RIAD!!! There was no respect for women!!!! Women, be very careful in this country and don't talk to men. Look for another riad.

It was a great stay: the place is small and quiet, with no disturbance, and the location is great. The man in charge was hospitable and kind.
