The rooftop breakfasts in the sun are still on my mind, and breakfast on the morning we arrived was fantastic. Our flight landed at 6 a.m., but the owners opened Riad Assakina early for us after arranging a private airport driver. They were helpful and attentive from the time we booked directly on their website, where we got a great deal. A 30-minute introduction when we arrived covered places to visit, eat, shop, and find ATMs. Those suggestions made getting around Marrakesh much easier. The spacious room, reliable internet, and central Medina location were all excellent. My wife and I spent five nights there last month and couldn't have been happier. It was one of our best travel experiences, and I highly recommend it.

Grant and Michele made us feel like part of their family. They're both so kind and sweet, and the food was stellar. The place has a lovely patio, pool, and gorgeous rooftop, while our room was big, comfortable, and had a massive bathroom. Such an incredible hidden gem in a perfect location. Thanks, Grant and Michele, for a lovely stay, even if it was too short. We hope to return soon!

Riad Assakina is a peaceful escape from the busy streets of Marrakesh, and Michele, Grant, and the whole team are so welcoming. They shared lots of useful information, and the breakfast was great, especially the breads and cakes. You can see the care behind every detail. The before and after photos on the ground floor show how much work went into the property and give a real sense of Michele's vision for turning it into such a beautiful place. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Les Bains de Marrakesh is also worth considering for a hamman.

Naoual and the team took wonderful care of us while Grant and Michele were away. Their English was excellent, and they were attentive to details, arranging restaurant bookings each day as well as our airport, station, and tour transfers. The vehicles were nice and always on time. After a week at the end of August, we often escaped the heat for tea or a drink in the cool courtyard. We had a lovely suite overlooking that quiet courtyard, with a seating area and a bathroom with two basins and a superb shower. Filtered water was provided. Breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful, with some lovely choices. The hotel is quiet and boutique in feel, and the Medina location makes it easy to walk to many restaurants, markets, areas, and sights around Marrakech.

They upgraded our room at no extra cost when we arrived, and it was beautiful. Grant and Michele are amazing, and the staff couldn't be nicer. The location is perfect. I truly can't recommend this riad enough and would happily return again and again. - Caroline
