The hosts were lovely and always glad to help. They arranged a hot air balloon ride for us, which I'd really recommend, and went above and beyond for our four-year-old daughter. Breakfast was tasty, and we loved the gorgeous, clean room and its great air conditioning. The location is excellent, just outside the medina beside El Badi palace, with plenty of nearby restaurants and easy walks everywhere. We used the pool and rooftop terrace, though in the heat we preferred spending time inside the Riad. We stayed three nights at Riad Assalam and loved it. I'd really recommend this gem, especially for families with kids.

Madam Bouchra was so lovely even before we arrived. She made a great breakfast every day and kept the property immaculate. The building's architecture is a pleasure to look at, and the central location puts you near all the main attractions. The staff were amazing with their information and recommendations. Highly recommend!

Hazan went out of his way for us, making complimentary mint tea, helping when we had trouble with a booked tour, walking us to our taxi in the dark, and giving us bracelets from the hotel. The staff even got up at 2 a.m. to prepare breakfast before our airport departure. Such kind people made the Riad feel incredibly welcoming and cozy. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, the rooftop terrace had a great view, and breakfast was delicious. It's a beautiful hotel, and I'd happily visit again.

Hassan and his team gave us incredible service, and the food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. After we arrived, Hassan kindly upgraded us to a very nice room. The Riad is beautiful inside, with a cozy pool, and its rooftop has a great view. It was also away from the noise of the Medina. We'll come back!

I booked it for my parents. The rooms looked average, and the toilet was OK. I've found better riads for a similar or even lower price.
