It was nice staying in this quieter part of town. Nearby cafés and restaurants are very affordable and give you a glimpse of local life. You can also take a bus to or from the Medina for 5 or 5-½ dirhams one way, which is a good way to save on taxis. The heater in our room was much appreciated in the winter cold, which otherwise would have made sleep harder, though the bathroom was cold. One day staff came in to clean without knocking while my wife was in the room. Thankfully she was clothed. On another day they forgot to clean, and by the time we got back the cleaner had gone home. On our last day, they prepared breakfast early because we needed to catch the 8 AM bus, which we appreciated. Thanks again.

When we left early in the morning, they had a full breakfast ready for us and arranged our airport transfer. The reception team were attentive throughout and offered several tips for visiting Marrakech. They helped us check in and served tea with pastries, and they even upgraded our room at no extra cost. We’d definitely stay at the riad again if we return to Marrakech.

The place has lots of charm and was a lovely surprise. Everything was beautifully maintained and clean, and the staff were professional and welcoming from the start, making us feel at home. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with fresh local products. A comfortable, authentic Moroccan stay. Highly recommended!

Riad Azia was a peaceful little haven in the middle of Marrakech, with lovely decor, beautiful rooms and a dreamy rooftop. The staff were incredibly warm, and the Moroccan charm and hospitality made it feel magical. Absolutely recommend it.
