The best part was the location: it’s peaceful, but walk about 100 meters and you’re among the souk’s local shops and restaurants. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. We stayed two nights. The beds and bathroom were clean and acceptable, though anyone who’s very picky may not find it suitable. There were barely any amenities. We found toilet paper but no tissues, only a tiny rubbish bin in the bathroom, and no water in the room. The heater and hairdryer didn’t work very well. The bathroom had just one liquid, and we couldn’t tell if it was shampoo, hand wash, or conditioner, so we had to use it for everything. The Wi-Fi was extremely weak and kept disconnecting. It also seemed to be unavailable from midnight until 7 a.m. Laundry service was listed for an extra fee, but when we asked, staff said they didn’t offer it and that there was a nearby laundry guests could use themselves. I’m not sure why it’s listed as a facility if it isn’t available. Nice staff and a great location, but the Wi-Fi, missing amenities, and inaccurate facilities information need improvement.

There’s lots of art and decoration, which gives this pleasant Riad plenty of character. The service was very friendly, and breakfast was good. I’d recommend it.

A great host and a good spot, close to most attractions. The Riad is down an alley, so you can get away from the commotion.

Hasna, Fatima, and Youssuf welcomed us warmly and were so helpful and available whenever we needed anything. They served us excellent breakfasts each morning too. The Riad is well maintained and in a great location, about a 10-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna, where the nearest taxi drop-off point is. I’d recommend staying here.

A comfortable traditional building with big, air-conditioned rooms and friendly, nice staff. Breakfast was included, with fresh food rather than industrial snacks. The Medina of Fes is a nice place to stay, and the hotel terrace has a gorgeous view. Taxis can pick you up and drop you off nearby.
