The bathroom door had no inside lock, which was a small downside, though apparently that’s common in Marrakech Riads. Otherwise, the traditional Moroccan-style room was colorful and comfortable. The Riad felt homely, smelled good, and was nicely kept with tall plants. We barely heard any outside noise. We spent three of our four holiday nights here in late January 2026. Riad Bayti is well placed near Mellah square and restaurants, a minute’s walk from Bahia palace, and around ten minutes on foot from koutoubia and jem el fnaa. Staff were welcoming and friendly, offered tea, did daily housekeeping, and helped arrange our airport taxi and with our suitcases. Breakfast was included and simple but nice. We also had breakfast one day at Malah cafe nearby, which was really nice. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The hospitality was excellent, and I’d strongly recommend Riad Bayti to couples, families, solo travelers, and other visitors. Thank you, Riad Bayti!

The staff made our trip stress-free and memorable. They were professional, accommodating, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. One person even escorted me to buy spices, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The food was another highlight: breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning, and dinner at the riad, which we paid for one night, was easily one of the best meals of our trip. They also handled our arrangements, including reliable airport transport, a hot air balloon excursion, an authentic hammam, and a desert quad ride followed by a camel trek and dinner under the stars. The alley to the riad can feel a little creepy or intimidating at night if you’re unfamiliar with the Medina, but we always felt completely safe. Don’t let the first impression put you off. Inside, it’s a peaceful oasis. We chose Riad Bayti for its excellent reputation, and it lived up to it from the moment we arrived. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Abdel and the staff were the heart of our stay. They were incredibly kind, always smiling and ready to help. When my partner felt unwell during the last few days, Abdel brought dinner to our room and asked whether we had medicine. We really felt like family. The open feel of the Riad also made it easy to chat with other guests. The breakfast server and the cheerful cook reminded me of my mother, and the rest of the team were always available to make us comfortable. Moroccan hospitality really is about kindness. Thank you, Abdel and everyone. We hope to visit again soon! The location is right in the spice souk, a few steps from Jemaa el-Fnaa and several meeting points for organized outings. The Riad is beautiful, clean, well cared for, and decorated in the style of a Moroccan home, with bright colors, carpets, cushions, a comfortable pool, and a spectacularly furnished terrace that’s relaxing any time of day. Breakfast was varied and excellent, with sweet and savory Moroccan dishes served at the table. We also had lunch there one day, trying tajine and other local dishes, and everything was tasty and up to the standard of the place. We were offered tea and traditional Moroccan sweets both when we arrived and before we left. Our stay exceeded expectations. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

The souk is right outside, and the street carries the smell of the spice market, which gives the place an authentic feel. The ground-floor pool is cold, and there’s a nice rooftop spot for sunbathing. Abdel was lovely and even arranged a transfer for us at 3 a.m. Breakfast is very local, with different breads and dips. We also had two tortoises, which was great for the children.

We spent six nights here, and choosing this Riad after considering several options turned out to be the best choice. The room was clean and had proper air-conditioning, and the food was perfect. The building’s character felt both inviting and authentic. The manager was a wonderful host who offered tours without pushing us to buy. The service and concierge staff were completely responsive and considerate. All the Medina’s cultural attractions are a short walk away. I’d highly recommend it if it fits your budget.
