What made the stay for us was how looked after we felt. Abdoul and Kristine welcomed us with tea, still made sure we got breakfast when we slept in, and even packed food when we had to leave at 5am for our hot air balloon ride. They also drove us in their own car when we needed to go out late at night to party. Such unexpected kindness. The riad is clean, beautiful and quiet, a calm little break from the busy streets of Marrakech and the Medina. We’ve stayed in lovely places before, but this felt personal and homely. We’ll remember it for a long time.

We spent 9 days at Riad Chocolat after coming from London. It’s a good way to get a feel for Moroccan culture, while the main souks are about a 20 minute walk away. The staff were friendly, the design was lovely, and our room was spacious with a stunning bathroom. I only wish we’d spent more mornings enjoying the roof. Hope to visit again soon.

Everyone was so kind and welcoming that I felt like I was visiting a friend’s home. The riad has all the lovely Moroccan details I hoped for, and the decor is beautiful. I had an amazing stay, and I really hope I can come back soon. Thanks for everything!

Dominique and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and they also helped us get around the area. Their suggestions for places to visit were fantastic. The rooms are traditional and cozy, and the terrace has a stunning view. The Riad itself is beautiful. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. We’ll definitely return, and anyone visiting Marrakesh should consider it a 10/10 stay.

My mum stayed here for a few nights recently. It was clean and really quiet, and all the staff were kind. Thanks, Dominique. I’d just suggest not smoking in the shared ground floor area.
