Riad Couleurs du Sud

We were really pleased with what we got for the price. The room had everything we needed and was cozy and clean, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from the roof terrace. Breakfast was delicious and enough for us. The riad is in a quiet area within walking distance of the main sights. On arrival, the staff treated us to tea, and they offered coffee when we had to leave very early. They even helped print our boarding passes. They were so helpful and nice.

We started our days with a generous breakfast of local delicacies, and our Moroccan-style room was very spacious and spotless, with a large bathroom too. My boyfriend and I were welcomed warmly at this charming riyad among the Medina’s picturesque lanes. The staff were extremely kind from the beginning. The owner even showed us how to prepare mint tea, and gave us useful advice for getting around the city. Highly recommended!

The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the rooms were quality. We were very happy with what we paid. The riad is in a particularly quiet corner of the medina, which suited us more than being right by the center. It still only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center square.

The riad is right in the center of the medina, with a beautiful, clean room and pretty yummy breakfast. I gave it 3 stars because the owner took advantage of us when we were rushing to catch a train. He charged us 20 euro for a taxi, even though it normally costs 2 euro. When we said that seemed unreasonable, he knew we might miss the train and told us to go out into the street and find another taxi. Other customers we met at the riad said they paid 3 euro for a taxi to the same place. Taking advantage of us like that when we were at risk of missing our train was really bad and unprofessional.
