Jean was a superb host, friendly and happy to accommodate us, and really went out of his way to make things good. The riad is in a quiet part of Marrakesh, so walking back from the Medina was enjoyable and away from the crowds. I stayed at La Maison de Naima with five others through airbnb. I didn’t book it myself, so I can’t comment on that process, but wanted to leave a review. It’s a lovely historic riad with pillars, pools, a rooftop terrace, and ensuite rooms. Everything was clean and comfortable, with all the equipment we needed. The owner grows oranges, so there was so much fresh OJ we could hardly keep up. I loved the stay, would go back, and recommend it.

The riad seems to have been left abandoned since the true owner disappeared, and it urgently needs renovation. The host sublets it to the owner's wife so it can be listed on rental platforms.

Naima's breakfast and dinner were lovingly prepared, and the owners gave us a warm welcome. Jean and Naima are both delightful. The riad is huge, with large ensuite rooms and beautiful decor, plus an amazing jacuzzi/pool. It feels like a peaceful oasis amid the medina's chaos.

We had a great family visit, and the riad's location made it easy to wander the streets and see the main landmarks. The place itself is magnificent, with spacious rooms and lovely decor. We also made good use of both pools, the one in the courtyard and the rooftop one, during the hottest days. Fatima made us a generous, tasty breakfast every morning. She's very kind, and we shared plenty of laughs despite the language gap. Naïma, the owner, was fantastic too, giving advice, finding places for us to eat, and having funny, enjoyable conversations with us. The staff were helpful throughout while still giving us privacy.

The waiter was top notch, making us excellent breakfasts and dinners whenever we wanted them. Jean was friendly and took care of our requests, including keeping the fridge stocked. The riad was clean and peaceful.
