I stayed nine nights and, despite the issues, enjoyed it. The location was good, the bed was big, the price decent, and there was hot water for washing and showering. It’s tucked at the end of a very narrow alley. Google Maps sent me to the wrong alley, one turn too early when coming from the west, but the owner sent clear directions on Whatsapp and I found it fine. The closest taxi pickup is in front of College Mohamed V, about 150m away. The place felt very outdated. My “Blue room” didn’t match the Booking description: it had padlocks on the doors, windows that wouldn’t close all the way, bare, very cold floors, no shower gel or soap, flickering lights, and no fridge. Most concerning, air conditioning cost an extra 3€ per night, which wasn’t mentioned in the room description, though it was on the hotel’s main page. AC is definitely necessary here. My room was +11 when I arrived in winter, and it gets hot in summer. It took 14 hours for the AC to make the room comfortable, and after that it stayed warm only with the heating running 24/7.
